AI and Vision Software Engineer

What you’ll do:

As a member of our R&D team, you will be working on the software to run advanced AI and vision based applications on our next-generation solid-state lidars. The market segments we as XenomatiX are active in are industrial applications, ADAS or AD use cases, road scanning and inspection , …  You will be part of the team that is developing the next generation application  for XenomatiX solid-state sensors.

Being an experienced AI and vision Engineer, you will research new algorithms or improve existing ones, specify designs, develop, and verify implementations. You will be involved in software development activities and closely collaborate with your team members. You will be working on use cases that are required by our customer base and hence enrich the customer field applications.

What you’ll need:

• You have a technical university degree, preferably in software or computer science.
• You are passionate about Computer vision, Image and Signal processing, Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning
• A strong mathematical background, particularly in linear algebra and geometry and experience with computer vision and/or 3D technology are highly appreciated
• You have experience in writing software using Python and C++, demonstrating proficiency in both programming languages.
• Having experience with software architectures and designs is a plus in order to build scalable, node based software which is efficient to maintain, test and roll-out.
• You have a research mindset and find joy in solving complex AI or 3D challenges
• You are flexible and can handle different projects in parallel.
• You can work in an independent way, while having the spirit of a team player.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience
